Sustainable furniture and the green lifestyle are increasingly important issues in our world today, and this blog seeks to inform its readers of the newest research into sustainable furniture technologies. This type of eco friendly furniture is a great way to make your home interiors stunningly beautiful, while doing your part to reduce plant waste and deforestation while simultaneously diminishing your carbon footprint.

Did you know that while the U.S. is responsible for over 33% of all deforestation in the world (for construction and furniture purposes, mostly), as a nation we only succeed in re-planting less than 25%? This means that, as we continue cutting down forests, we are not replacing them fast enough to make a real difference.  We are slowly losing our forests, which not only act as the home to countless animal species, but also play a crucial role in maintaining the delicate balance in our atmosphere and breathable air.

The Green My Home Blog is dedicated to teaching its readers of the value of reclaimed wood furniture, which uses old and unused pieces of lumber in lieu of freshly cut wood. This saves a tree in the process, while adding a beautiful decorative accent to your home. So please, pay my friends a visit, and start doing your part to conserve our natural resources! Check out eco friendly furniture today!

And remember not to get too lost on the Green My Home site; I want you to keep coming back and reading my blog, too! :)
