Posted under fountains

Nothing gives off a stronger impression about a home or an office more than a wall fountain. It creates a soothing yet powerful ambiance that visitors can't possibly miss. But you can't install just any fountain and hope it will leave a mark on the memory of any one that sees it. With over a thousand models to choose from, you need to know which generates the greatest impact on its intended audience.

The first step to choosing a wall fountain is to gain a better understanding of the room you desire to beautify and whether the furniture occupying it has a theme. Selecting a fountain that fits in nicely with office furniture isn't tough as companies often in batches which ensures every piece matches with the others.

The task of picking a wall fountain for your home, however, may be a little more complex. Unless you're a highly organized homeowner who makes sure every inch of his house contributes to a single theme, basing your choice of fountain on the type of furniture in a room may prove impossible. When this happens, try matching the fountain to the prevalent colors of the room.

Corporate boardrooms are better served by wall fountains made of stainless steel or stone, which emit a deep sense of seriousness in contrast to the relaxing effect gently rushing water has on the senses. An office heavily adorned with wooden furnishings, on the other hand, may benefit more from a wall-mounted copper and glass fountain. Complement this with a tabletop fountain for your desk or side table for maximum effect.

Your office and the neighboring boardroom aren't the only areas in the workplace that can benefit from a fountain. The lobby or waiting area need not be dull. A couple of wall waterfalls accentuated with lights that reflect off the crushed shale and glass design may liven things up.

A wall fountain in your home is a great idea. Not only will it give your home the status of talk of the town but also give your guests something to talk about. Place it in the most used part of the house like the living room or the foyer and witness the unraveling of deep and meaningful conversation.

Beware, though, as an attraction like an indoor fountain may draw the attention of neighbors and friends, even unwanted guests. Fortunately, the tranquility that your personal waterfall radiates may be enough to subdue wild urges to shoo them away. On a more serious note, you may want to install a fountain in your bedroom to set the mood for romantic engagements.

Have you ever felt soothed by the sound of rushing water? Why not install wall waterfalls at home and relax to the rhythmic drumming of water on the surface of a small pond. Better yet, set up a wall fountain at work and help calm frayed nerves during a hectic day. Decorating your office desk with a tabletop fountain isn't a bad idea either, especially for those long meetings.
